Lets face it – everyone reaches the end of their rope sometimes. Some of us reach it more often than others – and that’s ok. When the stress is mounting and you feel overwhelmed and on the brink of caving in – just hang on. Ride out the storm as best you can and eventually you’ll make it out.
Sometimes in life, your biggest critic is yourself. I find this to be true for myself and for many friends suffering from chronic pain. We are overly harsh on ourselves and beat ourselves up when we don’t feel like we’re measuring up. Remember to give yourself a break every once in a while. Remind yourself that you’re living with a pain that most people in life don’t have to live with and even still – you’re making it work (even though you may not feel like you are).
